WTD Compliant Rota Design

This can be a complex process covering monitoring, as well as managing swaps, leave and sickness on the daily roster. Managed Monitoring Service

Monitoring can be a time consuming process and requires plenty of knowledge and experience to ensure a successful outcome. The Zircadian team can offer a managed monitoring serviceat anadditional cost which includes the setup of monitoring exercises, supporting doctors throughout the data collection process, analysing and assisting with the completion of the ministerial return afterwards. Over 20 trusts currently use this service to monitor nearly 600 junior doctor posts.

 

Banding Appeals Service

Our team can provide an expert opinion on the likely outcome of an appeal, help draft the required documentation, act as expert witnesses in your Trust’s defence, and help identify the cause of the appeal and work out measures to prevent if from recurring. As standard we provide the following as part of our service:

  • A primary contact within the Appeal Team who will be available to the Trust during the dispute
  • Guidance on Appeal procedure
  • Analysis of all evidence provided by the Trust
  • Operational analysis of the relevant rotas and rosters
  • Preparation of a statement of case
  • Analysis of the appellant’s statement of case
  • A negotiation service if the Trust wishes to settle a dispute before it goes to Appeal
  • Regular updates to the Trust on the development of the case
  • Preparation of the Trust’s representative before the appeal
  • A member of the Banding Appeals Team to be present on the day of the Appeal
  • Provision of all relevant evidence that is to be used as part of the Trusts defence
  • A debriefing session following the Appeal
  • Analysis of any decision made by the Appeal panel
  • Advice to the Trust regarding controls and methods that can be undertaken to minimise future risk

In addition, we can also provide a member of the Banding Appeals Team to represent the Trust on the day of the Appeal.
