Zircadian, the leading provider of software and consultancy services for managing all hospital doctors in the NHS, announces today that it has been acquired by The Allocate Group in a move which integrates respective product portfolios, creates a strengthened and enhanced range of solutions and increases value for our clients.

 

Zircadian is currently working with 147 NHS organisations which principally use its custom built software applications, the Junior Doctor Portal and the Consultant Portal. The Junior Doctor Portal is an online gateway providing solutions for rota management, e-monitoring, e-rostering and locum management. The Consultant Portal provides access to solutions for consultant job planning, leave management, activity rostering, 360° multi source feedback, and appraisal and revalidation.

 

The functionality of Zircadian software is extremely complementary to Allocate’s existing nurse and medical rostering software, HealthRoster Nursing and HealthRoster Medics. The addition of the Zircadian software to the Allocate HealthSuite means that Allocate provides the only end-to-end software offering rostering across all staff groups. Furthermore, the planned integration of the software with HealthRoster will result in Allocate being the only provider of a combined medic planning and rostering solution, thus allowing Allocate to offer greater benefits to its customer base.
