Zircadian, leading provider of software and services for managing hospital doctors, is delighted to announce an important new collaboration. We are now working exclusively with SMART, provider of e-rostering and workforce management solutions to the NHS, to offer e-rostering for nurses and other staff groups. Our collaboration with SMART marks the start of an exciting new phase for Zircadian. By adding SMART’s e-rostering solution to our suite of products we are, for the first time, broadening our field to offer software for managing nurses as well as doctors.

Specialist Alliance
Trusts can come to us knowing that we can provide a one-stop-shop for expert solutions, each tailored carefully to meet the unique needs of a specific staff group. Zircadian’s new e-rostering system for doctors is designed specifically to handle the unique rules and regulations that govern junior doctors’ work patterns. SMART’s eHL system manages the electronic rostering needs of nurses and other staff groups. Trusts needn’t compromise by choosing a blanket solution from one provider that rosters one staff group well, but is unsuitably adapted for others. Our partnership creates an alliance of specialists and integrates specialised solutions.

A key benefit of the collaboration is that Zircadian products will now link to ESR via the system interface that SMART already has in place. The collaboration greatly simplifies the procurement process for trusts seeking top quality e-rostering for every staff group.
