Appraisal

A consultant's appraisal is a vital assessment of their performance. Both the consultant job plan and the 360° appraisal assessment are required documents for this appraisal process, so it makes perfect sense that Zircadian, market leader in job planning software, and 360° Clinical, the leading supplier of 360° appraisals, have come together to develop a comprehensive appraisal system, both for consultants and trust managers.

Revalidation:

From 2010 it is a requirement that all doctors will need to be revalidated. Revalidation will require doctors to provide a five-year history of annual appraisals, performance issues that have been addressed, and evidence of Royal College assessments. Zircadian and 360° Clinical are collaborating to provide an online revalidation system that will make a consultant's task of collecting this information easier, and help the trust and medical directors manage the revalidation process.
